FABULOUS location ... right in the thick of it. Given the noise outside (party!) I was amazed at the serenity as soon as the door closed.

WE HAVE STAYED AT THE INN ON BOURBON SEVERAL TIMES AND IT IS JUST A GREAT LOCATION TO GO OUT AND ENJOY THE FRENCH QUARTER AND BOURBON STREET! WE ARE LOCALS AND AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR WE STAY AT THE INN ON BOURBON THE STAFF IS GREAT AND IT IS NEAT AND CLEAN! IT IS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SOME OF THE BEST ENTERTAINMENT BOURBON STREET HAS TO OFFER! WE LIVE HERE AND WE LOVE IT! TAKE IT FROM A LOCALS POINT OF VIEW! YOU CAN HANG OUT UNTIL TIRED AND THAN TIP TOE ON TO THE INN!

Best place to stay in the French quarter at a great price! We were upgraded to a courtyard balcony room at no extra charge and without asking. The room was clean and comfortable, although small. The TV remote did not work but was promptly replaced by the staff. The internet connection was down for a couple of days but we learned we can live without Facebook. Security was excellent and the staff was friendly. It was great to be able to walk out the door and be in the heart of the Quarter!

Overall, the hotel was okay, it had its good points and bad. First, the good points... the people are extremely friendly and the pool courtyard was very nice and well maintained. On the weekends, there's a bartender to serve drinks poolside. Next the not so good... other than the pool the amenities were lacking. The "business center" is something of a closet with one computer, a broken printer and an atm that charges over $3 per use. The bathroom fan in our room and some of the other rooms of people I spoke with were not operational. The hairdryer is from maybe the 1970s so bring your own if you need one. One thing that they can't help and I wasn't aware of since it was my first visit to NOLA is the location is only good if your a bachelor party or young group that likes to party. Bourbon Street is not at all family friendly and smells like a mix of pee, puke and trash ALL day, EVERY day, especially in the hot sun. Next time I go back, I'd likely use a different hotel, this one is not for me.

Everyone was very polite and accommodating. Very pleasant and relaxing during the week and liveley on the weekend as you would expect on the corner of toulouse and bourbon street. We stayed in a room without a balcony on the backside of the hotel away from bourbon street and I was glad we did , it was very quite and made for a good nights sleep after a long day walking the quarter and enjoying its many shops.Centrally located from the French market,riverfront,aquarium/i-max,and all street cars.
