I stayed here because my kid's live in Jacksonville so it was close for them to come see me. It was very quiet and safe which is important to me because of my kids. Staff was outstanding with my room, they kept breakfast bar fully stocked right up until 10 with fresh fruit, coffee etc. It was right off of 95 but you didn't here the traffic, plenty of restaurants within walking distance plus a huge mall. I will stay again.

To start with, I called the day before to confirm and the girl was very nice.She told me that if we get there before 3pm the room will not be ready, but if we get there at 3pm the room will be ready.The next day we get there and there is a great big sign "Rooms $49.99", cheaper than we paid. Went inside to get the key and the girl said to wait, she has to see if a room is available. I repeated what I was told the day before. She left and came back and told the man to help me that she wasn't. She very sarcastically said"Have a nice day" and left. The room we got was not ready, not even cleaned, so they gave us a second room, way in the back where the party people are. There were kids running around all night, young kids, maybe 10-12 yo. Then there was a dog barking at the kids running around.I asked them to stop that we were sleeping and they looked at me and laughed. I called the office and they told me to call the police. The next night it was a little better, they were quieter but they kept setting this poor woman's car alarm off.Oh, tthe first night we were laying down and this other couple opened up the door and told us they were rented the same room.They left, the next day we went to Ripley's and the Alligator Farm and back to the hotel only to not be able to open the door. Had to go to office, when they cancelled the other couples card keys they cancelled all.So, rest, something I got when I got home!I don't plan to go back there and I told them this stay was a little ruff and the guy said he didn't care. I told him I'm glad he don't care and Goodbye!! The maid came in the room but she didn't take trash, or replace anything we used, we had to go to the office.

I reserved two rooms and had four other members of my family also reserve a room,and my sister whom I reserved a room for pulled the bed covers back and found a dirty bed and filthy pillow cases ,and a dirty brastrap.we reported this to the front desk and she proceeded to give us another room and it had hair all over the bathroom floor she checked it for her self and stated that it was uncalled for and apoligized,and procedded to give her another room which was ok.My room had the most dirtiest walls I have ever seen very nasty.I asked for another room but never got any response.i asked for a folded cot and never got any response.I do not recommed this hotel to anyone who likes a clean room.I guess you get what you pay for.From the outside it looks great,and breakfeast was great.
