I moved to this hotel after another chain was so bad, that I was rudely awakened for 3 mornings, by housekeepers yelling down the halls at each other. NOT this hotel. The housekeeping staff were very cordial and I overheard one tell the other that she was going to have to change the sheets on the second bed because it looked as though kids had jumped on it. The desk staff was also very nice and helpful. My room was very clean. I also liked the weight of the drapes that closed like custom made drapes should close and feel. They also had ample width for covering the windows., so there was plenty of overlap. I will say that the night stand clearly had water damage and was missing the finish on the top and bottom of it. It did look a bit dated and should have been pulled from the room and stained. But the bed and pillows were comfortable and the room lighting was adequate for my needs. I noticed the towels were thick and seemed fairly new and the shower curtain was on a curved rod that provided extra room in the shower. The shower head also was adjustable with different water pulses, which was nice. I did not have the opportunity to check out the laundry area for the guests, nor the sauna. But given the tidiness of the hotel lobby and the room I had, I know I will return for another visit and use this location. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a voucher for a breakfast from Denny's next door. the one thing I would like to see them do are fix the womens bathroom door off of the main lobby and also fix the crown moulding in the lobby. Someone had cut it into 3 ft. lengths and then mounted it up next to the outer edges of a suspended ceiling. At least glue them into 6 ft. lengths. While each edge has a precision cut, none of them were aligned tightly and it gave a choppy look.

Even though my trip to Florida was not for a happy occasion (visiting a dear aunt who is in hospice care). Ramada Inn & Suites made my stay very comfortable. Clean room, friendly staff and they made my last minute accommodations extremely easy.

Not knowing what to expect from some of the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised that the Ramada Inn was not bad at all. For the price it was quite satisfactory. The rooms were clean. The TV's however were OLD. The king-sized bed was adequately comfortable. The pool/jacuzzi area was nice. The pool area was noisy after closing(10p.m.)and I could hear the rude people when I was trying to sleep, but a simple call to the front desk ended that after the clerk got the noisy/rude people out of the pool. We received free breakfast coupons to be used at the Denny's onsite, but we did not use them.

Everything was clean, all staff encountered were friendly, helpful, and competent. I would gladly stay here again- no frills, but perfect for this level of accommodation and price. Immediately off the I-95 and a short drive from the 1A, with your choice of "Mega store," fast food, and decent sit-down dining very nearby. We spent our time between house hunting and enjoying tourist sites/beaches from Cape Canaveral down to Cocoa Beach- all about 20-30 minutes away and easily navigated to. Kennedy Space Center even closer.
