The aircondition was very noisy and it was not possible to open windows in the rooms. Workout room was rather small and located so you had to pass people in the breakfast room in your gym dress in order to get there.

There was no lighting over the dressing table we were going out for the evening to a show with friends but it was difficult to look in the mirror with no lighting. We also had to ask for another chair for the twin room as we were having room service and did,nt want to sit on the bed to have our meal. The receptionist who bought up the chair said it was policy to only have one chair in the room, which i thought was rather odd.

Cleanliness: I chose a smoking room, so naturally, it was not super clean, but the bathroom was impeccable and generally it was OK. Location: Great for Excel exhibition centre, but no shops within walking distance and the routes to the hotel by car are slightly bizarre (badly signposted; different exit than entrance). Overall: Good value for money and the food was good too, BUT, you need a car.

Very nice hotel, no problems but a bit out of the way for us as we were going to 02 Arena. Bit pricey with no breakfast. Had better on Canary Wharf, cheaper and with a great breakfast.

For 4 stars I would expect more comfort (to have a bath for instance, instead of a shower); the location is not so great. Is not a bad hotel but overall it doesn't really worth the price I paid for it.

Service was surprisingly better than I expected, with good communication not usually associated with foreign staff in London hotels. The fitness suite was disappointing though, and a 4* hotel could benefit from an indoor pool.

I was a little disappointed at the location of the hotel because, from the photographs provided, it looked as though it was going to be in a better area. That said, it was ideally located for the O2 arena which is where we were visiting.

most disturbing service experience i've ever had - i travel round the world 3-4 times every yr to more than 20 countries regularly - front desk VERY cold upon reception - especially when they found how i booked (your website) - bar/cafe refused table service after 10 min of no one else in cafe claiming she was too busy (non-stop talking to another staff member) - restaurant signed as non-smoking - asked the waitress twice and she reassured it was non-smoking - the asst mgr was having a mtg and there was a mtg member who lit up and proceded to smoke - only stopped when i walked over - we left our meals (they were excellent dishes - best part of this hotel experience) - upon checkout a very cold experience again

Excellent location as it is close to City Airport. Center of London can be reached cia DLR/Tube within less than 30 min. If traveling to country side the Ring road leads around the City. Extremely well trained and friendly staff. They always make you feel: "please come again".

Access to the hotel is terrible for people not arriving with own car. It can only be improved by a courtesy van that can be called from the hotel with a phone at the Prince Regent railway station. The station is also terrible for people arriving with luggage, with stairs up and down and a nonoperating lift.

Close to Railway, Docklands Light Rail (DLR), in a rapidly developing area. Quiet at present. DLR ticket pass should be included, buying tickets very difficult at the Station when a visitor.

Great place to stay and the DLR was easy to use to get to the underground and tour central London. Staff were very good, particularly in the dining room.

The hotel suited our purposes as far as location and price. Although it is a fairly new hotel the first room we were given had a cracked toilet basin - we were allocated a new room immediately.

Well located for Excel, and only a short tube ride into town. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby at Canary Wharf. Vast improvement on service levels and staff capability from when they opened two years ago - friendly, smiling staff make a difference. Leisure room is a bit cramped, but there are good runs along the river.
