Ramada Hotel Colombo Guest Reviews
Is a very old hotel located next to Taj Samudra. Most of the facilities in the room are just very-very basic and is old. Low water pressure and worst is the color of the water from the water tap...... BROWN!! I would rather pay a little extra to stay at either Grand Cinnamon or Galadari!!!

Staff was pleasant but overall this hotel fell a bit short of its publicity. Cost of Internet service was too high, and service was interrupted inconveniently; room service hours were not correctly explained; no tea or coffee service in the room was uncompetitive with similar hotels. Overall, overpriced for what is offered, but my room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Individual staff tried to compensate for inconveniences, to their credit.

Overall, probably better value than the small rooms in the Galle Face Hotel.

Holiday Inn is very conveniently located just a stone''s throw away from the main beach Galle Face In Colombo. It has a well equipped gymnasium friendly staff and a decent swimming pool. The only sour note about my visit is that Holiday Inn did not provide the extra bed as requested and paid for. I made a written complaint about the same and gave it at the reception desk on checking out. Thank you for all your efforts, and I appreciate that this is no fault of asia- hotels.com. In fact I am impressed with the efficient response to requests for information/confirmation, that I have been getting from asia-hotels.com. I hope you will take my comments in the right spirit as it will be some indicator to you in recommending this hotel to your customers in future.
