Ramada Encore Belfast City Centre Hotel
4 out of 5

Location is perfect, staff is fantastic. Pipes start rattling from 6am onwards which is very annoying, when mentioned this to staff they said that no matter what room they moved us, we would encounter the same problem. When we stayed the UK were in the process of changing to digial TV, which meantthere was no TV in the room, no facilities to watch movies or programms since we could not get TV channels. Also the internet was very slow and in the end wouldnt connect so the facilities in the room was very poor.

As we were attending a couple of ice hockey games in Belfast we found the hotel to be very close only a 10 minute easy walk away. From checking in to checking out all staff were fantastic and polite. The televisions didn't work due to the digital switch over but it made very little difference to our stay. Rooms are modern and spacious with very nice bathrooms. We had a side room overlooking a courtyard which has a few restaurants in it but we didn't hear any noise at all. We will certainly return again next season

The hotel was modern, clean, and functional. The spacious rooms have modern conveniences, but no frills. If you want a good value hotel without a lot of unnecessary frills, this is the place. I had a comfortable stay here.

This a modern hotel, with a nearly central location (approx 5mins walk from the city centre) The rooms are good sized but the walls are quite thin!

This modern hotel is a very pleasant place to stay if having a weekend break in Belfast. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. I was quite surprised to see a polished wooden floor rather than carpet in the bedroom but it wasn't a problem. (Probably more hygienic!) The bar was extremely noisy on the first night (can't be good for the hearing of the staff if this is a regular occurrence) - fortunately we were just passing through and as we were on the 5th floor we heard nothing there. Breakfast was very nice - the croissants were the best I've tasted outside of France! The hotel is convenient for Belfast city centre - ten minutes walk away and the hotel pays for the parking in the undercover park at the back. All in all it was great value for money.
