Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort
5 out of 5

Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort is conveniently located half way between Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown. It is the perfect place to be able to access all the island has to offer. Amenities were fantastic and you can quite easily choose just to sit by the pool or beach and relax or explore Penang quite easily. We loved it and will definitely return again.

It is a nice place to stay in Penang, Malaysia especially to those who prefer to enjoy beach activities at Tanjung Bungah. The room - Paradise Deluxe (1 bedroom suite) is so confortable for a family. Food is good (will be better if the hotel continues the Delifrance Cafe). At beach, u may enjoy the jetski, riding a horse or the beach scooter, get wet while riding the banana boat or may be challange yourself with the parachut

Very impressed with the service and attention given. The location was excellent, with good bus service plus cheap taxi fares. Would recommend this hotel to families as well as elderly people. Enjoyed the stay so much would like to return - afterall you can get 3 nights with breakfast for the price of one night in Singapore!

The hotel definately needs some refurbishment ! Quite outdated as compared to some new hotels nearby. However, the front counter assisstants provide good courtesy & services.

Kind and helpful staff. Expensive bar and restaurant with average food choice and quality. the hotel is starting to feel a bit old and run down. Beach and sea rather dirty this part of Penang.

This is a very busy hotel with many foreign tourists. Occupancy rate is very high, maybe because of its value for money. Everything in this hotel is very reasonably priced like snacks, food & drinks. The only drawback is its limited parking at its building & its breakfast whereby food & beverages are not replenished on time when finished. The staffs service is good & everyone wears a smily face.

We enjoyed our stay here - mostly due to the wonderful staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The room was nice - great view. The pool was lovely - although they need more than one. The restaurants were good. Breakfast was ok - mostly eastern food. Bus stop out the front which was great. Location ok - in between Georgetown and the main area. Quiet and not too touristy. Would stay there again for the price and service.

the room was clean with ample space. the resort location was great for relaxing and we were able to hire a car and also book ferry tickets down stairs at the travel centre in the lobby. This was very handy and saved alot of hassle. The staff where very attentive and presented themselves well, also they had a good understanding of the english language which helped.

The furnishing in the room is very dated. They try very hard to spruce it up with some portraits and bedcovers, with little effect. However, it continues to be a popular hotel due to every room having a partial seaview. That on its own is worth it. The pool area is also nice.

The hotel was nice. Room was very plain but the balcony was great. Bathrooms defiantly need to be renovated! Staff were very friendly. Would stay there again if they have renovations!

The hotel is a bit old and built on a small footprint area making it a bit compact. Stayed in the deluxe suite room which is spacious and clean. Large balcony looking out to the sea. Carpet in the corridor has a little musky smell and the windows at the lift lobby needs a new set. The swimming pool is a not big and set around a small area. On a full day it gets crowded and noisy. Breakfast option is excellent. Service is friendly. If you intend to spend a lot of time lounging on beach, you are better off at Ferringi Beach area. Hotel provides free shuttle to the city center which is 10km away. Priced at about USD60/night, it is a not a bad deal, overall.
