Excellent place to stay in La Paz

Really lovely hotel, bit on the pricey side but good for a couple of nights if you need to acclimatise (which we did). One important thing to remember is that if you want to rest, put your DO NOT DISTURB sign up because seriously, the chamber maids knock and enter around 8am!!! Really good food in the bar at very fair prices, quality buffet breakfast too. Good place to start off a stay in Bolivia

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson and of course it was the best hotel that we stayed in; well facilitated if a little dated in places. My only comment would be that we were told to check in to our room and come back down for Breakfast (which would still be open) and came back down to find it closed 5 minutes later. in fact, my comments all seem to be about breakfast - we ordered 'in' for breakfast instead and found that half of the order didn't show up. the next morning breakfast is started at 4.30; in actual fact only a quarter of breakfast was actually available! maybe we were 'breakfast' people!!!

I have never given all "5" for any hotel yet, but this one deserves it - truly a top choice. We got there by accident, as our flight was cancelled and the airline company payed a night there. We enjoyed it so much that we booked further nights afterwards. If you need a little piece of relaxing civilisation in the middle of a rough journey this is the place to be. Nice, comfortable rooms (maybe the bathtub could do with a little update) in a beautiful environment, and a fantastic restaurant on the top floor with truly stunning views. This hotel made our stay in La Paz a really enjoyable experience.
