Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Brussels Guest Reviews (5)
After much pontificating about where to stay my wife chose this hotel for a city break for her 40th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary - and I have to say it was a pretty good choice. From arrival felt very welcome with all staff speaking excellant English (yes, lazy... but you know how it is). We had upgraded to a Business Room as it included breakfast for not a lot more than a standard room without, and were not disappointed. The room was tidy with good amenities (mini bar, comfort cooling, large wall mounted flat tv etc) and a nice looking bathroom - no bath though with just a large walk in shower. Work area was very comfortable with decent sized desk and comfy chair. Breakfast was a little chaotic as everybody seemed to get to the room at 9:15 which lead to a lack of seating for a small period, but generally had a good choice of pretty decent quality food including pastries, croissants, toast and a selecton of bacon, sausage and the like. We didn't use any of the other restaurants so can't comment on these. Bar was small but nice, with a good selection of drinks. Apart from the fact they couldnt make either of our first two choices of cocktail (the server was vary embarressed and apologetic) due to a lack of required ingrediants it was a nice place to have a quick drink before going into the city centre. Location wise was spot on for the main tourist areas in the centre only being a 5-10 minute walk to the Grand Place, shopping streets etc. Overall I would say a great choice for anyone visiting Brussels on either business or holiday, and we would have no problems staying here again.

Spacious business class room with espresso machine and a kingsize bed. Free newspapers, free coffee, non-alcoholic beverages and fruitbasket in the lounge on each business class floor. We booked a standard room but nevertheless got a business room. Check-in took quite a long time but then again it was rush-hour on a Saturday. We got a, although a little bit worn out, 5-star hotel smack dab in the middle of Brussels for the price of a two-star one. Great value!!!Didn't have breakfast but it was expensive at 30 eur/pp. Had a sufficient breakfast in a small bistro nearby for 6 eur/pp.

I was really pleased with the hotel; we had a superb room and the service was excellent. We would most certainly use the hotel again.

Terrific location in Brussels just minutes from the Grand Place and many of the sights the city has to offer. From the exterior, the building looks like it has seen better days but inside it is lovely and very well-maintained. Price online was terrific but the cost of food/breakfast in the hotel is unbelievably high. Still, there are no shortage of sandwich shops/cafes within walking distance so you don't have to eat there.

The staff were very polite and very helpful. The room was was extremly comfortable and had all the extras needed, especially if you are attending meetings e.g. iron, hairdryer.
