The hotel is thoroughly modern and has excellent four star amenities for both business and leisure guests. It is conveniently located for visiting Manchester's attractions, theatres, shopping and nightlife. The Arndale Shopping Centre, town hall, cathedral and modern Urbis building are within easy reach.

Rooms
The 360 air-conditioned rooms at the Radisson Blu have themed decor: Scandinavian, Maritime, Oriental and Italian. Tea and coffee making facilities, high speed Internet and safe deposit boxes are standard.

Restaurant
The Phileas Fogg Restaurant serves delicious food and has superb airport views while the Runway Brasserie serves lighter snacks and drinks.

General
The luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport has a swimming pool, sauna and solarium, massage and beauty centre and a fitness room and gym for keeping in trim. It also has laundry services and a well-equipped business centre. The multi-lingual staff can book seats at the Royal Exchange Theatre or organise a tee time at the nearby golf course.

With undercover access to all terminals at the airport and the railway station to the city location cant be falted.Food at restaurant a bit pricey, recommend eating in the city if possible.

We could not wait to get out of this hotel, the heat was oppressive, and the windows do not open( something I hate! )Have they not heard of fresh air. The water was not hot enough to have a bath, not everyone loves showers! No doubt this is something to do with our ridiculous health and safety regulations, I would not stay there again despite the undoubted convenient location.

Great location for the night before a morning departure from Manchester airport. Easy walk to terminals without exposure to Manchester's legendary precipitation. Cheerful staff were helpful, efficient and accommodating, rooms were comfortable and clean, food at the restaurant was very good, WiFi was free (remarkable for Europe). Minor gripes, HVAC fan was noisy (turned it of, no big deal) and it's a bit pricey, but I consider Blu a much better value than the slightly less convenient Crowne Plaza (have stayed 3x at this average hotel) and the dreadful Bewley's (one stay was way too many), both also at the airport.

2 mins from the train station and a few mins from terminals 1 and 2, the train to the centre of Manchester is only 15 mins to Manchester Piccadilly. The hotel also checked me in as midday instead of 2pm which was very helpful!

We love staying at this hotel for a pre-holiday stay, it really gets us in the holiday mood. The hotel is perfectly positioned, on the skywalk, the rooms are large and very clean, some with a view of the runway. The Philias Fogg restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very good location for the airport, only a short (indoor) walk to terminal 2. A bit further to terminals 1&3 but not far. Room was a good size, nice and clean. Would use this hotel again.

Travelling by train it is so easy - particularly recommended for airport travellers with who can only push a case and not carry it

Located right on the skywalk link between terminals and overlooking part of the airport. But a bit tricky to find by car. Room was excellent all round. Restaurant very pricey but also very gourmet - that evening, though, they were full and very much struggeling with it. However, the manager went out of his way to apologize for the long wait and offered a free sorbet in between, after first having offered us veggies an extra meat dish we could't accept, so this was a nice double gesture. Hotel has OK-ish swimming pool in the basement. Breakfast cost extra (dearly) but was good.

Excellent hotel if flying out from Manchester as can check in early, then come back to hotel for a meal and a swim before flying. Hotel is 3 minutes walk on travelator from terminal.
