Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh
4 out of 5

I absolutely loved this hotel it was in the best location, it was really clean and the room was so comfy i would definately recommend and stay here again. i love Edinburgh its one of the best cities i have ever been to. being a single woman i felt comfrtable to go everywhere by myself. Loved it...thanks to all the staff. The only critisism i could say is the initial point of entry is a bit clinical and i didn't feel very warmly welcomed...no offer to help with my bags which was dissapointing as i was very tired and wanted to be looked after.

A great hotel that close to the Castle, the hop-on hop-off bus, and the AirLink airport bus. Just make sure your window closes all the way - ours did not and we were woken at 1am, 2am and again at around 4am due to the noisy drunks outside (it was a Friday night). Otherwise a pleasant stay in a nice hotel.

We visited with our nephew at Edinburgh University recently and stayed 3 nights at the Rad Blu. Truly a great location for the old town, the castle, the train station and of course the university. Hotel lounge is spacious, comfortable, a good place to sit and plan the day. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and the breakfast was ample. What more do you need for short visit!

They forgot the wake-up call in the morning, but the price is very good compared with the services and location. Noisy at Night as is very close to pubs and main street

the pool was not available on the monday morning for a baby splash session. this was not pointed out or advertised, so we had a wasted visit. the hotel staff however provided my wife with a surprise pudding on arrival as it was her birthday. this was a very nice and personal touch. thank you!

We stayed in one of the newly furbished rooms which was superb! The only criticism we had was that the pool was very small & was overlooked by the 'bar' area. This was due to having normal glass between the two. Frosted glass would have made the pool more private. Apart from this, top ratings all round!!
