Hotel location is supreme which is a huge factor in BJ due to the city traffic . Hotel stuffs are professional and friendly. Only one issue for the hotel is the smell from bathroom floor water drainer. Does smell all the time but 2 out of 8 days stayed here

The building is like a copy of the Sofitel a quarter mile away, but just a copy, which is why it's typically less than half the price. The employees try awfully hard, especially in the lobby lounge and the second floor buffet. I'll stay there again.

RADEGAST CBD BEIJING is not a trustworthy or honest hotel...no reason for this hotel to be deceitful and make dishonest profit. THey should be ashamed to be in business and ashamed to call themselves Chinese. USA and chinese have been friends many years. In 1940s many young Americans came to China to fly planes against Japan to protect China from Japan (long before Japan bombed Pearl Harbor HI ). That hotel is despicable and exhibits deplorable conduct. I will NEVER recommend RADEGAST CBD HOTEL TO ANYONE. I give a very poor (unacceptable) rating because they refuse to give money to this hotel (RADEGAST LAKE VIEW HOTEL) due to my simple mistake. I am new here to Beijing... I did not know there were more than one RADEGAST HOTEL. The hotel is unprofessional and a thief ! I would inform all news agencies and all travel agencies in USA not to go to RADEGAST CBD BEIJING. Their misconduct and refusal to be professional and helpful make them the worst hotel in China, not worthy of 1 star. I was staying at RADEGAST LAKE VIEW HOTEL and tried to add more nights on-line. I did not know there were more than one (1) Radegast hotel in Beijing. I did not find this error until 2:00 pm. RADEGAST LAKE VIEW HOTEL (Beijing) is very honest and helpful (and very new, very clean, and beautiful) - but RADEGAST CBD BEIJING has demonstrated they are poor comparison to better staff (more professional, more knowledgeable, more helpful) of RADEGAST LAKE VIEW HOTEL.

Very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff although a bit lacking in English language ability in some cases. Only major gripes were (1) location - a little far from public transport and shops/restaurants and (2) a very mediocre and horribly overpriced breakfast buffet and a la carte menu.
