The staff are so helpful and the amenities so great. If you want to play golf or watch the ladies masters golf, this is the perfect place for a weekend away.

The hotel itself is great. The start wasn't really pleasant as while checking-in about 10 minutes before 2 pm. The girl at the counter said that our room wasn't ready and that we'll have to wait for couple of minutes. We went out to park the car in the car park and when we came back she said that it wasn't still ready and will have to wait more. She then disappeared and came back again after 10 min, still no response. We had to ask her again about the room. Finally around 2:20 pm we got our room. The room was really good, great views but the bathroom was dated for a 5 star standard. The swimming pool area was really nice but gets quite busy at times (Screaming Kids everywhere). The location is far from Broadbeach/Surfers (takes around 15 minutes drive). If you like the night life than this place might not be for you. On the other hand if you want a getaway for the city's hustle and bustle than this place is great. The standard of the buffet breakfast was OK (again considering its a 5 star). Decent selection but nothing special, the quality of food is very basic. Normally a buffet breakfast in a 5 star hotel in the asian countries like malaysia/thailand are fantastic and unforgettable. I will probably visit again if only I can't find a 4 star hotel in Surfers/Broadbeach (In the same price range).

We recently attended my grand daughters wedding which was held at this hotel. We were pleased with all aspects of the event including the chapel presentation, the wedding function etc. Staff were attentive and made the event enjoyable. The rooms are all in good condition and well equipped. The location is great if you are a golfer.

We love this hotel and have stayed here before. We've found during the week to be best, the hotel is quiet and the service is excellent and attentive. The real reason to keep going though is the food. Arakawa is the best restaurant we've ever been to, the chefs are friendly, the service is excellent, the price is wonderful and the food fantastic. We also enjoyed Kalinda with the seafood buffet and Videre for a delicious dessert. The hotel staff are happy to cater for any request without question, from reception to delightfully friendly housekeeping. We 'll certainly be back again.
