Quest On Dixon Darling Harbour Apartments Guest Reviews
Hotel room was like being in a cave, as we were on the 2nd floor there was minimal natural light. We had been allocated a disabled room?? for wheelchair bound hotel guests but various items such as glass ware and crockery were kept in cupboards at my eye level... Most importantly there was no vanity or shelving in the bathroom we had to put a chair in the bathroom to keep things off the floor, like the hairdryer and cosmetics. Also no plug for the sink. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a 4 star establishment. When we queried the reception staff we were told that is the room design.

Nice quiet room, very well located. Helpful staff. Very clean and well appointed except for the very old TV - romote not working.

As with most Quest apartments, the room was generously sized, nice and clean, reception were friendly and helpful, and the location is central to town hall and central station (about 5-10 mins walk from each). The large balcony on the executive studio was great (probably the largest balcony i've seen at a hotel) and when the door was shut there was no traffic noise. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Chinatown which adds a bit of colour to the location and the giant Panda bear that comes out around dinner time promoting a local restaurant is popular with the kids. I will/would definately stay here again and would recommend Quest on Dixon to both work colleagues and friends.

I stayed here for 2 nights and after reading some reviews, i decided not to expect anything much more than just a decent apartment. I was actually on a budget and find this service apartment cheaper than other hotels and since i have stayed with Quest at other states, i kind of trust this one will be just as good as the rest. I checked in late and was glad the reception is still open. the room looks exactly like in the promotion pictures. And, i do get the room with no view ( but its okie since its not an expensive accommodation). The room and toilet are clean ( which are the most important thing for me). Location is actually in Chinatown. Not too bad....i can go out and still find something to eat at night. I didnt use the kitchen coz it is not exactly a kitchen. It is more like portable elctric stove. Besides, there are so many places to eat just outside. And it is near to darling harbour...very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
