Quest Brighton on the Bay Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

Had to pay australian $30.00 for 24 hours of internet which is a bit high.

The Attic Queen room was very comfortable, but it would be good to have a soap dish perhaps in the bathroom, and even two chairs - as it was a bit difficult for two people to share a chair- and you don't always want to sit on the bed. It would also be helpful to have instructions for how to operate the covering on the skylight in the roof.

For a new facility some of the finish was very ordinary. Did not like the fact that you had to buy your tea and coffee in the room - it was not supplied. When paying the amount we did, I'd expect to be at least be a ble to have one cup of tea or coffee without having to buy a box or canister at $10 - $15! Disappointed that their liquor licence was not through yet - not their fault, but made pre-dinner drinks with friends a bit embarrasing. I have stayed at other Rydges hotels & they've been fantastic. Hopefully this one will meet the others high performance soon.
