good Service , friendly and clean but need to improve provision in rooms; better pillows, more coat hangers and a sink plug!

The reason we stayed at the Queens Hotel was that every where else of a better standard was already booked. We went to watch England play cricket in Kandy. This was also the place The Barmy Army made their HQ for the week. the Hotel looked tired and could benefit from more that a lick of paint. food average and with little choice on a day to day basis.The pool was probably the best thing about this hotel.

Average. The pool is very good, and the bar is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Get a room facing inwards, rather than out onto the noisy main street.

Older hotel, but good quality AC had been provided, along with a modern ensuite shower room. Very comfortable and conveniently located next to the Temple of the Tooth.
