Good old style hotel. Friendly and professional staff

We, a family of four (kids 3 and 6 years old), stayed three nights in two connecting rooms (quadruple) in the old part of the hotel. We stayed on the top floor and had a long balcony. Everything was very good, particularly our rooms and the garden (where you really could relax after a visit to the beach or before going out for dinner). The house itself is also good and the whole atmosphere of the place is old. The hotel is within easy reach of the beach and a bus stop is only 300 meters from the hotel. No problem walking to the ferry if you don’t have small children. All in all Lido is the perfect location for any trip to Venice, especially if you plan to stay for more than two nights. I have been to Venice five times before. The price we get through [your website] four our rooms were very compatible.

The location of this hotel was excellant. The staff were all very friendly and most helpful. It was lovely to have breakfast on the terrace each day and be able to sit in the garden. Only a few steps from the water bus stop and a short walk from the beach in the other direction. However we did think that perhaps the bedrooms could be a bit better finished and that their restaurant prices were rather high, but on the whole excellant, would stay again.

family run, perfect service (rightfully rated in the red Italian Michelin guide as very comfortable in all respects), great Patio (breakfast, dinner). One PC station in the library (near the lobby) with free Internet access. Hotel boat can transfer you to anywhere in Venice. At check-out, we were offered (for free) to maintain one of our 3 rooms till late at night.

The hotel is situated on Lido de Venice. This means you need to take the carferry to reach the hotel by car. It is a nice quiet place to stay, away from the masses of tourists in Venice down town. We especially enjoyed the hospitality of the staffmembers and the fresh fruit as desert.
