We made the booking from a Channel 9 Postcards "Special" offer but, come-the-day, there was no special rate and the staff were unaware of the fact. Why should they be expected to know? I suspect it reflects badly on people other than the hotel - Perhaps it's a failure of the booking system or a reflection of Channel 9's attitude. Needless to say, we won't be conned again.

It was a great stay for my girlfriend and I who found the staff incredibly helpful, while everything we expected from a hotel of its quality was delivered. We also found the cleaners friendly and willing to help as well. Was a great stay, would stay again :)

location is great. next to the sea. However, the air conditioning in my room leaves much to be desired. it is a portable air conditioning, that is so noisy and does not cool the cool enough. Room was humid and stuffy.

Room was comfortable and has clearly benefited from a recent refurb, but was a little small. Restaurant food was mixed. We had some great starters followed by main courses that, while good, failed to meet the same standard. Lovely location.

Comfortable and classy, great room layout, excellent restaurant meals, good service. Unbelievably noisy bathroom exhaust fan, and I suspect other intermittent vibration/resonance occurring may have been coming from other fans nearby , making it difficult to rest or sleep when on.

I loved this hotel but unfortunately didn't get to stay long enough to try all the facilities. The staff were really fantastic - incredibly friendly, helpful and lots of fun. The room was comfortable - albeit the mattress wasn't great but was better than most hotels I've tried. The hotel is located only a little out of the CBD, surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant - they have a deal going many nights of the week and it was very reasonably priced for great quality food.

The location of the hotel was nice, however our room looked out over a block full of disused building equipment, but the view to the horizon was gorgeous. The staff especially Tara couldn't have been more helpful, and really saved the day! Breakfast was over priced and over cooked, but again the serving staff were ever so helpful! We were disappointed at the size of the in room Tv screen and lack ability to play DVDs. Our main disappointment came with the presence of forign hair in the spa bath. Overall nice setting, and staff that were very very helpful!

Looks great but it ends there! Bed very hard as was the couch and chairs when dining. Paid for full buffet and a poached egg was out of the question. Very disappointing stay - so much so - our late check out of 1200 was ditched and we left at 0900. Would never stay there again!

Warm and very friendly staff, who were able to answer any questions I had. As I was not sure how to turn up the heating, Paul and Julia attended to my concerns. On the subsequent evening I can back to my room to find that the heater had already been turned on, so was warm and cosy awaiting my arrival. Thanks for a great stay
