Quality Inn St. Mounts Blackheath Guest Reviews
Interesting hotel/guest house full of character and more along the lines of a B&B than a hotel. Shared formal and informal lounge rooms with breakfast facilities and rooms come with their own en suite. If you like older historic buildings this is the one for you. Restaurant serves great food, a little pricey but nice.

The worst accommodation one has ever experienced. Room tied and badly in need of some matinance, damp bed with not even a chair to sit on in the room itself, the room had NO drapes to block out light or to give you any privacy, an old water heater for heating not turned on. Cup of coffee in a lounge with no cups, fridge that freezes the milk, one old TV. Service… no one around to offer any service. For the price they charge per night and the lack of service, I wonder how they manage to be able to meet the criteria be a Quality Inn. ‘St Mounts’ with an old Heritage sign is an old neglected looking building and grounds, badly in need of some care. Sure they may have some nice antique furniture and strange objects, which do not really add to the comfort of the establishment. Location right on the main road entrance to Blackheath, where large trucks rumble past all night and day. One establishment I would NOT recommend you stay at in the area.

We were disappointed with our accommodation at St. Mounts. The room was tired and shabby. The ensuite bathroom was extremely small. We walked through the shower area to get to the toilet in one corner. There was a very small (and low set) wash basin in the other corner, if fact you would be better placed to brush your teeth if you sat on the toilet seat. There was no where to put toiletries except ...on the toilet seat! We were very disappointed with this accommodation and the pricing did not reflect the quality. We would not stay here again.

It is a small hotel, but all the rooms are nicely decorated. The common area is very classical. Good value for the money.
