I was very disappointed by his hotel it was old and seemed to charge as if a newer one. spa pool didnt even work properly.

We travel around NZ a lot so we stay at many motels, Collegiate Wanganui is without doubt one of the best! The units are well equipped, scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The staff are unfailingly cheerful and helpful and always very accommodating of any special requests. This property is definitely our first choice in Wanganui.

Good to have a separate kitchen. Odd to have no drawer space at all. Toilet a little restrictive. Otherwise warm, comfortable.

The room was a resonable size but we found the housekeeping inconsistent, so in the end our room never got tended to, even though we were there for 3 nights. I didn't feel it was good value for money and we did not enjoy the food in the restaurant/bar. Overall it was disappointing and we wouldn't stay there again.
