The Quality Hotel Woden is a unique property, located about 10 minutes from the city of Canberra and its many popular attractions. This Phillip hotel is minutes from the Royal Australian Mint, Australian National University, Telstra Tower, Cockington Green Gardens and the National Gallery of Australia. Nice people, lovely room, super clean and modern. The staff were cheery and friendly - and Bev in particular was effortlessly helpful when I mistakenly thought I'd left my novel by the bed. Bistro meals, very average, served below in the Tradies club were way overpriced. Would eat 'out' in future. However, a solo musician did make my meal enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our visit to Quality Hotel Woden Canberra. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. A welcome haven from hectic holiday plans. The staff were of a very professional and friendly standard. We wont hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and plan to stay there every time we visit Canberra.

The hotel and it facilities were excellent, there is a trades club next door which sells reasonably priced meals and there is undercover security parking. The only gripe I have is that my room was charged for drinks we never had and I was asked to pay for the room on two occasions, even though it had been booked and paid for in advance. So whilst this hotel is great, check your bill to ensure you don't get stung.
