Each time we stay I find the reception staff cold and unwelcoming. Same this time. There were a number of problems - the room had a wind whistling problem - solved effeciently by a maitenance person puitting a towel under the door - there are such things as weather strips that could be installed. Next problem the ironing board wouldn't stay up - quickly fixed again by maitenance, however, the cover was perished and it was awkward to use. Next problem - no-one collected our room service breakfast menu from the door knob - we were given complimentary b'fast in the bistro. This was handled particularly well as I was quite grumpy by then.

A good-sized room, nothing special with respect to decor or fittings, but light, spotless and comfortable. Balcony with a view was a plus. Friendly staff. HoteClub rates were a plus. Would stay there again.

Recpetionist was not particularly helpful - not rude but didn't go out of her way. Room was great - good value for money. The location is central. Value was ok although room service dining is very average and very expensive. The only real bug bear was parking - very limited close to the hotel for vehicles over 2m tall - which is ours. We weren't happy leaving in a parking lots across the road.
