Getting There & Around
Tourists usually arrive to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, situated in Carolina, rent a car and drive to Ponce. The town also has an airport, Mercedita International Airport, which receives daily flights from the United States.
The best way to get around is by renting cars or taking taxis. Taxis are the best option, since these are cheap and plentiful. The town's main attractions are located at the centre of its Historic Zone; therefore, tourists can enjoy walking around.
