I would recommend this hotel to a friend. It has a lovely feel to it - very like the Singapore Shangri-la hotel - similar decorations. The food was not as good as expected. The Belgian Waffles at breakfast were very dry, stodgy and chewy - not a good waffle. Not any WOW factors. Good views of course.

Keeps up the usual high standard of Shangri La. The basement bar has no real space for dancing, and the resident band at the time wasn''t playing much dance music, but I guess that changes from time to time.

Didn''t like the hotel entrance area where traffic control to cars & taxi is poor. Often cause unnecessary jams and waiting time. The hotel lobby does not inject the exclusivity of a 5-star hotel. Staff service differs from different areas. Service at the coffee house is not up to par. Housekeeping of the room is fine.
