Fantastic family/business gateway! Few steps from Jordan MTR station (Right Upstair!). Friendly and helpful staff. Room are average equipped but comfortable and clean. I always choose Prudential Hotel while i'm in HK either for business and pleasure trip.

I use to stay at Prudential when I go to Hong Kong on business trip. I've been staying there almost every month since mid-2012. I always had a good experience. This time I went with my GF so we were pretty lay-back. For the first time, I was not alone in the room and while I was in the room, I could hear the noise made by the water pipe when my GF was taking a shower. As we woke up late, I could also hear the neighbor's room water pipe as well. Isolation is not good at all. I didn't notice it before as I used to get up at 6:30 for work. Same, when they clean the rooms, you can hear the agitation in the corridor. But the worst was the service. I'm living in Shanghai and have been based there for 9 years. I come to HK every months or so and I've always put Hong Kong service way ahead of Mainland's. But this is not true anymore. We checked out at noon and my GF and I went separate ways. She came back first to the hotel, our rendez-vous point. As her mobile phone works only in mainland, she asked the reception if she could use the reception phone to call me, and they refused!!!! They told her to go out and use the public phone! Is it the treatment you got at a 4 star hotel in HK? Worst, I had to send a package to a customer. I went to the concierge and paid 120 HK$ and asked for an invoice. The concierge insisted that they remit the receipt and I thought that as long as I have my 120HK$ receipt, it's fine. The same evening I found the receipt in my room and it was only a 50HK$ receipt that they paid to the coursier. I'm wondering if I'm going to stay there next time.

I've been there twice the last two weeks. The first time I stayed 3 days on the 7th floor. No complimentary water was a shock but the room was clean, the bed comfy and I appreciate the sofa in the corner. The Wifi worked well and I had newspaper delivered to my door the next morning. The second time I stayed 2 days and I was on the 13th floor. I had complimentary water, but I didn't get my newspaper in the morning... Wifi signal was weak though at this floor, so I couldn't use my pad or phone. I had to stick to the ethernet cable on my computer. The hotel should install more wifi repeaters at different floors. The hotel provides plug adapter but it's too bad you have to call the reception every time to get one. I'm not a big breakfast guy. I just need an omelette and some coffee and this was perfect for me. For people used to lavish to 4-5 stars hotel breakfast, you'll be disappointed as there's almost no choice. The location is great, just above the Jordan Subway station which makes it easy to go everywhere in HK. The check in is always slow but it's fine. What I like the most is that the rooms are not cold. I have been to so many hotels where it feels like 10 degree Celsius even when you turn off the air con. This one is perfect. There's nothing more I hate than catching a cold in HK because of those Air Con..

It is extremely convenient that Prudential Hotel is located in a prime shopping district, and a stone's throw away to many eateries! There is a direct exit from Jordan MTR Station to the hotel, so we could travel to other districts in Hong Kong. While the beds and the pillows provided weren't as comfortable, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel (:
