Very average hotel - noise from lifts. Breakfast was OK.

We stayed at the Principe for 3 nights and it was fantastic - really clean and tidy, the room was a good size and the air conditioning was a huge bonus. The staff were brilliant, friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic, but did the trick. The location is good, it's in a nice part of the city right next to a metro stop (which was out of action when we were there due to expansion, but the walk to the next closest one was still only 10 mins or so) but is nowhere near beaches or the sea, so if you are hoping for views this isn't the place! The taxi from the airport only cost 8 euros. We were really impressed with the hotel and will be staying there again on our next visit to Lisbon.

We had a triple room - 3 comfortable twin beds spaciously situated in a large, sunny room. The bathroom was also large, with a great shower. We sat on the balcony and watched the sunset. Breakfast was good - quite a variety of selections.
