Prime Hotel Beijing Guest Reviews
This is a great hotel and the staffs are friendly and polite. They helped me to locate some packages efficiently and always helped us to get a taxi without any complaints. The location is excellent and it will be even better because the subway will be extended to the intersection of the hotel next year. I did not rank the facilities very good because the hotel card somehow got "demagnetized" from time to time and the room we stayed does not have fan in the bathroom. I did not rank pricing very good because the local calls are charged. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

The location is a walk-away to the WangFujing night market where you get to eat the infamous fried scorpion, starfish and sea horse. The sheets were always clean and the bathroom was really big. However, buffet breakfast had little variety. The ONE IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR in this hotel are the people manning the Concierge. They charge you more than what is necessary. For example, getting a cab to the airport where they first charged us 300rmb which we found very outrageous considering the airport is only 40 minutes away.Hence, we declined. But later on, we got to talk with the hotel manager, he gave it for 200rmb which is the regular price. We also asked the concierge to have our train tickets refunded so they charged us an extra 100rmb for that which they said was for going to the train station, when the station was only 10 minutes away! So our advice is...always deal with the Hotel manager and not the people at the concierge when it comes to bargaining about the price.

Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff, no problems with english. Location a little bit off, will choose a hotel closer to subway next time.

Ideal location, just 5 minute walk from the Wangunjing Pedestrian Street and close to main turist attractions. Room was above average size with a bathroom with separate shower and tub. Good selection at Breakfast. Maybe just 4½ star hotel compared to many others.
