Premier West Hotel London
4 out of 5

I got a Hotel room on the cheap during the Olympic weekend. It was clean, comfortable, and i had a nice modern looking room. I was pleasantly surprised, even if the outside or the hallway leading up to the rooms hardly look like something from the Ritz. Regardless, breakfast was sufficiently good, staff where friendly, and Hammersmith is a pretty nice area. The Hotel is situated just around the corner from the main town centre and the train station so its in an ideal location. I recommend this hotel for travellers on a low budget.

It was the worst place in the worst area I had ever stayed. Lumpy bed with springs digging in. No TV reception. No bathroom lighting. Tiny room could not open 1 suitcase. Reception spoke limited english and pushy. Insisted I stay even though could not sleep in the bed. Noise from traffic bad. View is a car park. Nothing around. Reception gave wrong directions to Laundromat & Internet Cafe, go lost. Felt very unsafe in the neighbourhood. Cried from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.

With this price, I am very content. Hammersmith is a nice area, convenient and fun to be. My room is small but very clean. I am suprised to find my own bathroom by paying almost the least for a single room in London. The breakfast is nice too.

I think it is what one should expect for that price near the center of london. Not good, but one can survive this.

While the hotel could certainly use some sprucing up, my room was spacious and had everything I needed. The gentlemen at the reception desk were really helpful. In addition, the location is great; very close to both of the Hammersmith Undergrounds. Also, right across the street from the back entrance to the King's Mall and a short walk all the different shops one needs (printer, pharmacy, health food store, grocery store. I plan to return.

The hotel and the furniture was very dated. The drawers in the room were broken. room was clean though and the location was good. it was only a few minutes walk from the piccadilly/district line.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. No problems other than the door getting stuck once. But that was very quickly resolved. Hotel was clean and suited perfectly for a one night stay.

Water pressure poor with very little hot water (takes a long time for hot water to come). Fuse blew in the room first day and was not fixed for a long time. Recommended more as a student hotel or hostel.

There was no hot water and other people said there had been none for 2 days. There was large damp patch in the ceiling in our room which dripped water into our room. The curtains were hanging of the rails it was not a very nice place to stay I would not recommend it.

Needing a direction to get to the hotel while outside the tube station, however reception wasn't good at all in giving direction.Manage to found it which is less than 5 min away from tube station.Reception are not sure with the local buses services too. Check in late night and was assign to a room with a man in it.However, got a better room after all. Overall is a nice neighbourhood with its own morning market and shopping street just minutes away from hotel. Close to tube station and has a few bus stations. 24 Hours buses services will keep you busy in London.
