boutique hotel .. great location had a good experience that was marred by a very disgruntled staff at the reception desk who seems to not give a hoot abt the guest

I stayed in this hotel last week. I loved my room - comfortable beds, powerful air con, great shower, balcony overlooking Calle Montera. I had got a special deal as I was staying for a few nights so it was excellent value for money. The reception staff all spoke English and were able to help with any queries that I had. The only slight criticism I would have is that there was no breakfast included, although there were coffee and vending machine facilities on the first floor for a small fee. However, this was a minor issue as I tended to eat breakfast in nearby cafes most days. Overall I would really recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here if I ever go to Madrid again.
