Location
Located on a cliff overlooking its own beach, the Club is set in lush gardens in Praia dos Irmaos, near the popular resort of Alvor. It is also close to other typical resorts such as Portimao with its pretty marina and Carvoeiro.
Rooms
The Club has apartments sleeping up to five people. All rooms feature a balcony or terrace, kitchenette, air conditioning, safe, cable TV, and wireless Internet access.
Restaurant
The Clube Restaurant offers a wide range of meals and snacks, as well as an a la carte option. There is also a sunny terrace where guests can dine al fresco, a pizzeria, and beach bar.
General
The Prainha Club Hotel is a good choice for guest travelling with families and who enjoy both an active and relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. One small comment is that we found that the prices in the restaurants differred from one to another for the same things. ie. beach restaurant prices were higher but the other restaurant was actually nicer.

For the visit of Algarve, Prainha Club hotel Alvor is idealy situated near main atractions. Portimao, Alvor, Lagos and Sierra Manchique are all inside half an hour drive, and in one hour you can be anywhere between Cabo st. Vincence and Spanish border. It is strongly recomanded to rent a car, which is very afordable (cca 150 EUR for a week for type A car). Hotel shows that it is not exactly new, but it is compensated with a nice terrace, excelent grounds which include two sweeming pools, and a fantastic beach inside walking distance. All rooms have ocean wiew and the parking is free, unlike most of the other places, where you have to pay for both. We spend a fool week, during which time we visited everithing worth seeing in Algarve, but we did not find a better place to stay. Excelent value for money!

Excellent location , quiet and restfull but not to far away from town.Taxi service was super and cheap.Very pleasent stay.
