Fatima & Surroundings Hotels

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima is a Roman Catholic basilica that commemorates the legendary apparation. With room for over 2,000 people, the church contains many important symbols, from the tombs of two of the children to a section of the Berlin Wall. For those who want to explore towns outside of Fatima, Ourem is a good bet. A 13th century castle and palace complex, known as Casa Alta by locals, peers from a hillside perch over the historic town.

Nightlife

As a religious tourism destination, Fatima does not have much nightlife to speak of. Your best bet for bars, live music and nightclubs is to head to Lisbon, less than two hours drive away.
