Poplars Apartments Christchurch (The) Guest Reviews
The rooms were nicely decorated and the amenities very good. The bed was two singles pushed together, a little hard for our preference and the sheets felt a little starchy. The staff were friendly and our overall experience was very pleasant for the two nights we were there

I stayed in the Embassy Room, it was compact but had everything I needed. The only downside was the lounge window looked onto the office block next door and you had to keep the blinds closed during the day. Th under floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was lovely, but the shower only had a curtain and a small lip to stop the water getting onto the floor of the bathroom, so the floor became wet and you needed to be careful after the shower. Location, was great it was on the outskirts of town, but only a good ten minute walk. It was really quite and no noise. The carpark is in another street and across a busy road, and was a pit painful especially when it rained. There was also no security with the carpark so parker beware. This was all a bit unsatisfactory, but not much that can be done. I would stay at this property again however, as it had everything I needed and was clean and very modern.

Car Park was very tight - lucky we had a very little rental, and shower needed repairs.

Had a wonderful few days - the apartments were spacious, comfy and well appointed and the meals were superb, especially the breakfasts. Main bedroom in 2 B/r apartment bit cramped but overall above average apartments. Staff were friendly and helpful - would certainly use this accommodation again and recommend it to anyone.
