Location
Conveniently located just of the northern motorway, the Poenamo Village Hotel is right next to the Takapuna Golf course and close to Takapuna Beach. The North Shore Events Centre, North Harbour Stadium and the Bruce Mason Centre, where all major concerts, sports games and conventions on the North shore take place are also set nearby the property.

We only wanted a place to stay for the night. Sure hotel is older but rooms quite spacious and beds comfortable. Pool nice too and lots of places to buy food nearby. Much cheaper than anywhere else on the North Shore.

An electric able had been severed nearby and the hotel was without electric power for most of the day

Clean, reasonably old but rooms are well kept and showers toilets etc modern. Plenty of parking and nice view of an atractive pool.

I liked that there were plates, bowls and cutlery to use if you brought food along. The place was clean and very handy to the motorway and my family. Also the rate was excellent.

It advised that it had a kitchenette, but in fact it only had a hot water jug and a fridge, not a kitchenette. However would stay again. There are no breakfast facilities and no restaurant close by for breakfast, apart form a McDonalds..
