We arrived there on Xmas Eve 10am. We dropped our baggage and went out for shopping. By the time we arrived back at 11pm that night, our baggage are already delivered to our rooms. The place is small but clean. The staff does not speak English well however they are still responsive and helpful. It is 35mins from the Dongdaemun by Metro .. I think its not too bad. Lots of night life around, however I don't see/hear any "abnormal" things during my stay.

Very accommodating and professional staff. Very clean and comfortable room with 24/7 internet access. Highly recommended. Will stay here again in our next getaway....

I stayed at the Plex Hotel for five days in November 2010. I found the staff very welcoming and helpful, which contributed to making the stay a very good one. The staff speaks good English and are happy to help you book trips and taxis, or provide any other assistance you may need. The room was small, but had a PC and big-screen TV. The bath supposedly had a steamroom function, but this didn't work. The bed was hard, but overall the room was perfectly adequate, as I didn't spend too much time there. The hotel is located south of the river, around 30 mins by subway or taxi from the more touristy areas in Seoul. But the area has lots of good Korean bars and restaurants and allows you to see parts of Seoul you wouldn't see if you stay in typical tourist areas. Great value for money if all you're looking for is a decent, clean and safe place to stay while exploring the city. If you want to spend a lot of time in the hotel, you should probably aim for something more fancy.

For the price Excellent deal- Large LCD TV PC with Internet in the room. 440M from the Subway- I rate a hotel by if I would come back- Travelling Korea and I have already booked to come back here- Staff are excellent and honest- English is pretty good- one of the better hotels I have stayed in whilst travelling- Higly recommeded

Plex Hotel is a nice, modern hotel with very friendly staff. After checking in late at night, one of the managers greeted us at our room and showed us how to use everything in the room. Our room included a very comfortable full size bed (by western standards), a big flat screen TV, a computer with internet access, wireless internet access, AC, Air filter, mini fridge, free amenities, big shower head, and sitting bath tube. The hotel is located near the Olympic stadium. There are a lot of statues and other Olympic figures around the main street. The area surrounding the hotel has a great night life. There are many restaurants and bars everywhere. The only draw back, this area is far from the center of Seoul. A taxi ride from hotel to Seoul Station will cost around 10,000 won.
