Older hotel so rooms are old, but the entire hotel is super clean. Terrific indoor lap pool and outdoor jacuzzi on the rooftop, several treadmills in the gym with an incredible view, excellent buffet breakfast included, and very nice bar/cafe in lobby. WiFi only available in the lobby, but plenty of areas to hang, including the bar. Internet connection in rooms if you have a cable. Centrally located once you figure out where you are. Bellmen, taxis waiting, very professional and helpful staff. Can't hear people in other rooms, but noisy water pipes in showers and room doors close hard. Staff speaks English.

Hotel was not quite the standard we imagined, although was quite ok on the whole I guess. English was a problem though it was spoken a little. No security safe in room but available in reception during certain hours.

On the whole I think the better hotel in Porto Alegre over the Sheraton. This hotel has better facilities and also the staff are more helpful.
