I try to stay at Plaza Real when i'm in D.R and as always i had a great time. my only problem was my room on this trip, it was the worst room they had i think but the hotel was full. Next time i will make sure to request a room on booking. I still fully recomend this hotel.

The facility is in desperate need of improvement. They allow you visitor which is a good thing because I have family down there. There are no personal service. Staff lack costumer servise skill. Hotel lack of activities and ammenities and restaurant available are average and lack of varaity in their menu.

Enjoyed the stay at the Plaza Real Resort being away from the War Zone was a great break. Met a lot of good people. I got to learn how to speak more Spanish and I will be good for another trip.

Staff was friendly and our room was clean. The beach at Juan Dolio was very nice, clean and had security. Great value for the price, but nothing else close or anything going on at night. Great chef in the front restaurant and excellent food in the place next door also.
