Location
Located ten minutes from the centre of Venice and with easy access to the airport and autostrada, the Plaza is a popular base with both business and leisure travellers. The Mestre railway station is just across the street, and once in the city it is a short vaporetti trip along the Grand Canal to the Rialto Bridge.

The two hundred and one rooms at the Plaza are classic, spacious, and contemporary. All rooms feature climate control, mini bar, safe, satellite TV, and en suite bathroom.

The hotel has two restaurants the Poseidon for breakfast and dinner where dishes are local regional or International, and the Soul Kitchen for light meals and snacks.

Directly opposite both Train Station & Bus Stop. Well appointed Hotel, good size rooms, nice dining room for breakfast and free WiFi. Our room was spotlessly clean and all the usual toiletries in place. Serviced daily and left in good order. Breakfast gave a good choice, with items to suit most people. This is a transient hotel, with coachloads coming and going daily. This sometimes causes a dearth of food at Breakfast, but staff are fairly quick to replenish. The WiFi is excellent - I found it speedy and reliable (No dropping out) - and updated my Tablet daily. Reception Staff were polite and knowledgeable giving accurate information and a few tips. Trains into Venice are frequent and cheap (But sometimes very full) and must be the fastest way into St Lucia. This Hotel must be one of the best if you want Venice where a substantial number of Hotels have very small rooms and entail a miserable trek from the Train Station via Vaporetti and/or a plod through the small alley type streets tugging luggage through hoards of tourists. We saw them every day and sympathised!

Helpful professional staff, located right opposite station and bus stop to Venice. Taxi can take you straight to your door no need to lug suitcases through Venice searching for your Hotel. From Cruise terminal or airport

We were there for four nights and the room was very clean and a good size but view was not great if you get a side room because the hotel is long and narrow so the front rooms a very scares,the food chioce for breakfast was average European ie (cheese and meats) but the did have eggs and bacon.The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpfull.We went for a dinner in the hotel which the waiter was not very helpfull and very rude so our dinner was spoilt and not very nice experiance.

We disembarked from a cruise in Venice and were looking for a hotel on the mainland to stay at for one night prior to flying home. This hotel fit our needs perfectly! For 4 of us plus luggage, it was a 32 Euro cab ride from the cruise terminal. The room was fairly spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was quite nice. The front desk staff was very helpful when it came to answering questions regarding getting to/from the island of Venice, as well as getting to the airport. After checking in, we had some time for sightseeing in Venice. Located just across the street from the Mestre train station, it was super easy to get to the island and back (10-15 minute train ride, 1.20 Euro per person each way). As for getting to the airport, that was easy as well. The hotel is located just across the street from an airport shuttle bus stop (20 minute drive, 5 Euro per person with luggage).
