Food is expensive but excellent, very romantic , good destination resort. VERY relaxing, VERY beautiful--make sure you book only a Lanai room!

The resort is good in terms of its service and its facilities. Inspite of NO TIPPING POLICY, hotel person still extend the quality service and the efficient service you need. They attend to the needs of every guest in an instant and they even go beyond their call of duty. That is really a 5 star service and 5 star facilities in terms of sports facilities and pool. Rooms are average and I could only rate them as 3 star. Room needs further upgrades to meet 5 star category. Food are excellent. Location is far and is really inconvenient to get a taxi. Hotel car is expensive approximately US$15.00 per trip. But overall, it is an excellent resort. And I would recommend this resort for relaxation but not for business traveller since location is extremely remote and inaccessible to local taxis.

The hotel itself is getting a littel old in terms of the rooms, but the views are fantastic and the facitilities are also very good. Lots of activities to do. The beach is a little small and not very picturesque but there is plenty of sand and pools/lagoons to swim in. The spa was amazing and on a cold day we had we spent there in the hot pools. The service was very good with the staff being very firendly and helping whenever they could.

Nice hotel with lots of privacy area, good for family trip. Transparent tip policy. Paradise for businessman at leisure. Well trained staffs. Very considerate. Some set up activities were not held as planned.

There is something odd about a resort on a beach in paradise that attempts to create another reality with its own concrete lagoon. Plantation Bay may be a good place to take children, but it is otherwise too artificial for our tastes. The restaurants were mediocre and (with the exception of the Italian restaurant) service the same. Room service was courteous, but the breakfast offerings meager. We ordered fruit plates and received one small slice each of mango, pineapple and water melon. Cebu is reputed to have the best mangoes in the world. At Plantation Bay, you would think they did not exist.<br> <br> Otherwise service was excellent. The dive shop was well managed and run. Nonetheless, we will book elsewhere on future trips.
