I have been to many hotels in Vegas throughout the years and planet Hollywood is by far the worst. Do not be tricked by it's so called 4.5 star hotel rating... While the gambling on the casino floor may look nice, the rooms were just horrible. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was no refrigeration, and the shower pressure was so low a moth could withstand it. The bathroom has missed two sinks, while this is not a big deal for many it can be bothersome for people who travel together. The only thing nice about the bathroom was the bath-tube, which was spacious. Unfortunately the bath bar given, gave me an allergic reaction and i had rashes throughout my body. I tried to wash it off in the shower, but the water pressure from the shower, made it take 30 minutes to wash off soap. A major issue was the upkeep of the rooms. In one room (as a group stayed in 2), we had scratches, broken lamps, and rusted brown stained metal in the bathroom. On a side note, the TVs are an extreme grievance. U have to click very fast to a channel or else the tv would should off. Even when clicking fast the tv would shut off for no reason. Every time you change a channel, the tv stalls for a few seconds which get very annoying when surfing. If you click to a channel that does not exist, you get a very loud annoying beep. we tested the tv's in 3 rooms and determined they are all the same The service was either surprisingly good or surprisingly bad. When we requested a room change after noticing missing cabinets, the manager and receptionist responded to us scornfully, made us wait 15 minutes and didn't even apologize for the quality of their room. The room they moved us too was just as bad, and was incredibly noisy. Despite the signs of nonsmoking the entire floor smelled of smoke. If you have asthma or allergies this hotel is not for you. The Hotel was however in the middle of the strip and perfect for people who want to move about all over Las Vegas. Overall, I'm shocked at the condition of this hotel. I"ve stayed at the Sahara, Luxor, MGM, Mirage, and more and i can assure you the room quality is better at the lowest level of these casino when compared to the Planet Hollywood. If you want a good bed and shower do not stay here.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Our room had a view of famous Bellagio fountains. We found this hotel on the heart of Las Vegas. You do not pay resort fees. Wifi is 14 usd daily. Good place to stay on LV.

I had stayed in a lot of different hotel in vegas , but this is the first time stay at PHollywood. The whole experience is just an average . I could had paid 40$ more stay at Mandalay Bay for much nicer beach pool and room is definately better over there.

It was a bad start to our trip since we got there about 4to hours late.....not the hotels fault but we got there and we got a little confused since we usually are able to check in before we for park the car but we pulled in they said it was only for valet parking that we had to go to self parking then come back we didn't know it was on the back side of the hotel and for around the shops to get to the check in area but when we finally got there it was great we stepped right to the desk and checked in. The clerk was vary friendly and he got us our room key and set when we got to our room we didn't know what to expect we when in and wow we looked out the window a prefer view from the strip from the top floor room was clean nice tv on the room and a nice small one in the restroom and the bed was amazing overall we loved it and would come back anytime now that we know where to go and how to get around

We arrived late so only had a double bed in the non smoking rooms - we were given the choice of a queen in smoking room which we declined. We paid extra for breakfast - it was about $15 extra and I assumed it would have been the buffet, I was very disappointed to find on arrival that "includes breakfast" was actually a $18 Starbucks voucher - which with that money only really buys a snack so we were disappointed. Overall there is nothing wrong with this hotel and it is good value for money. This hotel appeals to a younger crowd (loud music in lifts and throughout the hotel). There are nicer hotels, but obviously you pay a premium for them

We were here for my husbands 40th birthday and after sharing this at checkin and providing photo I.D were given an upgrade for a very small cost with a perfect view of the Bellagio fountains. After reading some reviews on here I was not expecting much of a view but we had two big windows to see out of(though they do need cleaning). Being able to share the experience with our children via skype one night was special. Bathroom was huge! bath was divine to soak in after a long day and night touring the strip. Had a couple of wins on the slots which was fun for a couple who don't usually gamble.Food here was good and not too costly, easy and fast check-in check out. Overall a great stay and would stay here again. Wish they would make smoking outdoors though....in some places it really was unbearable.

The casino stinks badly and find it hard to breath inside because of the heavy smell of cigarette. AVOID if you have asthma problem (other hotel casinos aren't as bad). Staff are not very helpful (Same as Paris, might be a common problem of the group) NO free wifi, charge $14 per day for cable in the room. Room is alright but the toilet doesn't flush properly, water takes ages to reload. I recommend Luxor over Planet Hollywood, better room facilities(at least everything works fine and free cable internet), nicer and more helpful staffs and cheaper!

I had very mixed feelings about Planet Hollywood. Depending on which staff member you encountered the customer service didn't range farther than good. The check in staff was okay, though when I upgraded to get into a room sooner than my check in time, front desk staff member told me that I was getting a great view of the MGM.. what he didn't tell me was that it was just the sign and mostly the back of another hotel. I know it's my fault and I shouldn't expect much but what are you supposed to think when the field that these people work is called HOSPITALITY. I just have extremely high expectations of any hotel. One of the things that I do love is that the hotel was in the center of everything. The hotel room was okay, it didn't look much like the pictures and the walls and carpets in the halls are pretty beat down. Thank goodness that the bed was comfortable because otherwise I would've complained and left. I would return only because everything was mostly decent. Just remember not to expect much than that. And I would only recommend to a friend for the same reason.

The hotel is wonderful and in the best location on the strip! The staff were extremely helpful and the food was wonderful. My only minor complaint is that the bed was a little hard and stiff for me.

Our first night our room was on the 6th floor. Our view from the window was eye level with a bunch of roof top AC units. :-( The room was pretty nice, and spacious. At bed time we realized how loud the units were. Next morning the friendly yet heavily accented desk clerk(I do understand the need for bilingual staff) found us another room more suitable once I began to under stand her. She informed us that our room would be downgraded. Thankfully she had a picture of both, because a translator wasn't present. By downgrade, we lost a few square feet, a second sink in the bath, and an odd room layout. We were very happy with the second room, 33rd floor, sunrise on the horizon, QUITE at night. The room overall is not much different than any other hotel/motel room with the exception of the bathroom and the separate shower and tub. Nice touch.

We enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights v.much. Spacious rooms, great location in the middle of the strip and v.helpful polite staff. Its very handy for the Miracle Mile shops which are next door and within easy walking distance of other vegas hotels. I would stay here again.

Personnel was very friendly and helpful but rooms were not large and roomy as others we have experienced in Vegas. Room did not have a fridge which is important to us (had to pay extra). Location was just fine for us since we did not have a car and were able to get around by walking, bus or tram. Will probably come back again.

Planet Hollywood is average among the hotels on the strip. I've been to Caesars, Mandalay and Planet Hollywood is a bit older than those, at least where I was staying. Staff was nice, location to everything else was also in the middle of the strip. The pleasure pit was the attraction of the entire casino! It was nice that the mall connected to the casino for food and alcohol runs. Not overly impressed, but not disappointed either.

The bed was very comfy, but the room was average. I was disappointed tho cause the room had no drawers and a very small closet. The hotel itself was nice n the staff was extremely helpful and polite. DO NOT eat the buffet, it was very nasty!

The staff at Ph is great! Valet service is quick and professional, front desk was friendly and nice enough to place my party in two rooms on the same floor, housekeeping was standard, luggage service was efficient and must do if you have a lot of bags. The rooms have plenty of space and the bathrooms are huge! However, they're starting to show a little wear and tear, such as, our mattresses sunk in towards the middle, facet was leaking, and carpet is starting to ripple in some spots. Location is the big winner for Ph. It’s attached to a mall that has plenty of locations to buys gifts, clothes, and other items you may have forgot to pack or need. For those of you that like to party there are plenty of bars and clubs within walking distance. Overall, Ph is a great place to stay and I will definitely consider it the next time I go to Vegas.

Location was ideal. Nice sized rooms and loved the bath tub. Close to casino yet quiet in the room. Great food in the restaurants in the mall. Pool closed for the season but wanted to check it out for the next summer stay and forgot to look. Fat Tuesdays in Mall, too. So far, better than MGM, Monte Carlo, Stratosphere.
