I booked at Pineland as i had a family and Pineland offered full kitchen facilities however when I went to cook i found that the oven only had two elements going and the oven was not working at all.

as we wished to stay another night, enquired about space but the complex was booked out. The owner then rang and arranged accomodation for us at another reasonably priced unit.

I am of the opinion that the owner is too "protective" over the propertive requiring the guests to observe every "rules". Many "donts" are posted in addition of what that have already been written in the "rules" book. It feels like "staying" in a dorm monitored by a strict school-principal. The heating unit didn't work when we stayed. It is also the motel policy to charge infant as extra person (not a good policy eh?) even though at the end of the day, the owner did let my child of 2 year stayed free.

Seemed to be alot of rules and regulations (excessive for a motor lodge) that all incurred penalties if you didn't do them. eg dishes to be washed, dried and put away, no slamming of doors in facility etc. Mineral pool towels couldn't be taken to units but unit towels couldn't be taken to pool. Made you abit worried about moving.
