Cavite Rundown ... Read more »

Cavite, with its natural picturesque beauty, is the perfect place for a memorable eco-vacation. You are bound to get enchanted with its lush green mountains; the swaying rice stalks on a stretch of rice paddies and the superb caves and falls found on its upland areas. It is indeed an ideal refuge right in the bosom of Mother Nature.

One of the famous panoramic vistas is Tagaytay, considered to be the Philippines’ second summer capital and is also part of the Cavite province. It has some of the best sites for exploratory caving, camping and excursions – the Tagaytay Ridge.

Some other natural attractions worthy of visit are the Cabag Cave in Maragondon, Balite Falls in Amadeo, Malibiclibic Falls and Pico de Loro in Maragondon (Cavite’s highest peak).

Not only is Cavite a hub of awesome scenic views, it is also the place of the most successful revolution in Philippine history and the very cradle of Philippine independence. That is why a number of historical museums, sites and landmarks are scattered all over the province.

With a combination of a glorious and rich past and splendour of natural, green beauty, Cavite is a proud province.
