Nice, friendly and recently renovated hotel at Lido beach. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The breakfast buffet is very good.

We very much enjoyed our time at Petit Palais. It was on the island across from the main part of Venice, so the location was good. We enjoyed being away from the tourists, seeing typical Venetian life in the mornings and had no problems reaching our destination at any time because of the dependable boat system they have. Just use the public transportation to get there. Don't get conned into other taxi boats which cost more and may not take you all the way to the island. The staff was very helpful and gave good recommendations. (Visit the restaurant about 200m from the hotel. It has local cuisine and wonderful staff). The rooms are large and bright and some face the sea. We were there in May and it was great.

We were very pleased with our choice of Hotel. The staff were very helpful and advised us on where to go and what to see. Situated on the Lido it gave us a choice of lazing on the beach or taking the boat into Venice. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Petit Palais.

Exceptional friendly, courteous and personal service made this a truly memorable stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Being on the Lido beach, one can take advantage of a "two centre" mini break. A beach holiday and city break combined!

The best part of this hotel was the view. Located on Lido di Venezia, not St. Marks. You need to take a waterbus (about 15 minutes) to get to the tourist part of Venice but the view of the Adriatic Sea was so beautiful it was worth it. I recommend going when it's warmer so you get Venice and the beach in one trip.

The reception staff was very helpful. Staying on the island is beautiful and a bit away from the crowd and commercial life in Venice. We had a great time!!
