Stayed as part of group - would prefer hotel on front with better views - seemed to be full of retired teachers, so if thats you its fine :)

Lovely hotel but many others in better location that may cost a little more (5-10%) which would be preferable. We stayed here by accident, we thought we had booked the(other hotel)which is far superior - but still had a fun time!

This is a genuine 5-star Hotel with very good facilities (Indoor Pool and Spa Centre, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, gym etc). The breakfast is a full buffet-style. Best of all is this Hotel's location. Wonderful views over the harbour and a stroll into Funchal.
