Peppermill Resort Casino Reno Guest Reviews
The Peppermill's Tuscany Tower was comfortable and quiet. A nice place to stay in Reno.

We stay here several times a year, as it is close to our medical facility. It is nice to be able to relax and feel pampered. The rooms are always perfectly cleaned, and the hotel staff are always smiling and friendly ready to help us get exactly the room we would like to have. The people in the VIP lounge are snobby and never let us have our pick of rooms so even though we could use the VIP lounge because of our player card status, we don't. For a real treat, eat in the buffet, you will be amazed at the huge selection of absolutely gourmet deserts available, just be ready to wait to get some one to give you one, they mostly speak only mexican and sometimes very difficult to get across exactly what you want, but it is worth the effort. Sometimes you can not get their attention, so just go get a manager to get the help you need. The price for lunch is worth it, especially if you get a players card, and are 55 years or older, it is 2 for 1. The slots have been extremeley tight, and we have pretty much quit playing the machines but we still stay for the complimentary slot tournaments. If you want a really colorful, loud place to play, this is it. The pools are absolutely the best, can't go wrong there.

The hotel was a very good hotel, and of the Casino/Resorts we visited in Reno, was newer and nicer as opposed to Harrahs, Silverado and a few others. Strong Italian influence in the art and decor present throughout the hotel. Concierge service was outstanding. Not only were the restaurants at the Peppermill recommended, but competitor's dining was also recommended. I was looking for a "special" steak house for a romantic anniversary dinner with my wife. The top recommended for Italian was there location, but recommended the Harrah's Steakhouse. Reservations were made and they informed the Harrah's Steak House of our Anniversary to ensure we had a special event, which we did, and Harrah's Steakhouse (bring $$$) was excellent. Staff was helpful and responded quickly and promptly to all needs. Room Service - long and very pricey and food was not that great. Hard to ruin a bagel and cream cheese, but they did. Two bagels, two fruit bowls, a pot of coffee and one order of biscuits and gravy, $55. Go to IHOP down the street. Excellent visit overall. A shuttle service to downtown would have been an added benefit and a little more on local happening posted. It would have been fun to see the Santa Crawl in downtown Reno.
