Pentahotel Beijing Hotel Guest Reviews
The hotel is generally good. However, the room keys are ultimately irritating. We always had problems slotting in the keys to open the door. As a result, I had to keep going down to the reception desk to get replacement keys. However, when I requested a bell-boy to come up to our room, it worked after a lot of times! Please fix this problem for future guests.

The hotel is located in a walking distance from a subway station Chong Wen Men(Line 2). A big department store is connected to the hotel. You can also find a super market in the basement of the department store. You can get anything around the hotel including MacDonald, Starbacks, Pizzahat, Chines first food, Bakerly, etc. The area is well developed and there are three shopping malls. Taxi fare from the airport is approximately 100 RMB. You should mention, "Beijing Wan Yi " to a taxi driver. 30-40 min ride will take you to the hotel if there is no traffic JAM.

We took a deluxe room which appeared very standard. The fitness and swimming pool are not in the hotel but in a fitness center in the shopping mall next to the hotel. The staff is nice but their english is more than light as the concierge didn't know what is a swimming pool. The breakfast is nice but could be better. I d'ont recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a bit old, so the room feel a bit dirty. Just feel a bit not very comfortable. but location and pricing is good.

This is a great location if you want to see the Beijing sights but want a familiar place to come home to at night. It's just a block from the subway, which you can take to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, and it's just up the street from the Pearl Market (Hong Qiao) and the Temple of Heaven. The rooms are great - all the western amenities of an American hotel, comfortable beds and super-quiet rooms. They also have a great breakfast spread. If you're craving the conveniences of home, the hotel is attached to the New World Mall, where they have a Starbucks, Pizza Hut and KFC. Beijing can be really overwhelming, so this was a great place to retreat to when the crowds and pollution get too much. Overall, an excellent value. I highly recommend this hotel.
