Pearl South Padre Hotel Guest Reviews
We had some problems with the card key, but the staff quickly took care of the problem. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony view was beautiful. I highly recommend eating in the resturant at the hotel because the food was delicious and the view splendid. My only complaint is that the water took a while to warm up.

Rooms were comfortable but a little on the small size for a resort. Everything was clean, except for the pools. They told me they clean them every morning but we went at 11:pm and they were dirty and then we went early the next morning and they were still dirty and then we went later at noon and of course it was still dirty. I saw a dead baby frog in the big pool, tons of bugs in the bar pool, and the kiddie pool had bugs and sand and a tadpole swimming in it. Not what I like for a resort.

Stayed there for vacation and proposed to fiance while there. When staff found out, they upgraded room. The room was a little beat up - like towel rack was bent and pantry door was coming apart, but it was still a really nice suite and a wonderful surprise. Staff made it a point to be friendly. I love the pool and swim up bar. I recommend an off season visit. Rates are more affordable.

This hotel was good. The only 2 complaints that I have is that the shower took about 15 minutes to get warm water and the walls are really thin so you will hear your neighbors. Other than that, the hotel staff was wonderful! We had a broken remote control and a new one was brought within 10 minutes. Everyone was very professional and courteous. We were able to check in to our room earlier than expected and the room was very clean and nice. The pool is "amazing!!" We spent everyday at the pool. The swim up bar is great and the food is also awesome. We will definitly stay at this hotel in the future!

this is one of the ugly hotel that i've ever stay. It advertise at 4 &1/2 stars,it was a lie. the floor, ceiling and the whole room need to be update, and remodel. it's not even close to 2 stars. Air conditioning unit make too much noise, it's going on every minutes, i can't stand the noise. the hotel allows dogs, and i've never seen any 4 stars hotel that allows dogs to be in. the room is small and floor is dirty. The first day that i was there, the pool was so dirty, debris all over the place.and i's one of the dirtiest pool. I would not recommend to anyone. i stay for five days, i enjoy the beach though, i was happy to be home, so i don't have to listen to the noisy air conditioning unit.it needs to stop put 4 and 1/2 stars on it. it's false advertisement. internet is suck too. i can't use my computer for the last two days.
