Pavillon Villiers Etoile

Fantastic location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has everything you need without it being 5 star rating, clean and comfortable. Many significant sites within walking distance- We caught one train in a 3 day visit.

Nice place to stay however some small complaints below: Free internet access but the connection was quite bad. Small safe in the wardrobe could not be used as previous occupant had left the safe locked, presumably for a joke. We asked the hotel staff to unlock it but nothing happened even though they promised to solve the problem. The soap appeared in the bathroom only the second day. Positive aspects: quiet and safe hotel with easy and fast access to any place in the downtown. Quite many shops, cafes, restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This is a typical 3 star hotel in Europe. Friendly staff, close to the Metro. Our hotel was on the street front and a bit noisy with the windows open. No Air con.

the price of 250 euros announced at the reception was the chock for me when you see the room.... this hotel should be just 80 euros normal price and then we can talk about discount after... the rooms are old, location is nothing interesting, night shift reception is bad and don t know where are the rooms and try to ask you more when you have to pay...avoid this hotel !!! I had to call by myslef to get a taxi on time in the morning....

There was no hand soap in our room, we wanted hand soap twice but they didn't provide. I had to wash my hand with shampoo! All TV channels were in FRENCH! The street in front of the Hotel seemed a bit deserted. I would prefer a Hotel closer to main street. If you have another option, I definitely DON'T recommend you this hotel...

The location was very good , close to the metro and market. the room is not large , but beatable enough. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Having no tissue is only one fault.

Bed covers, sheets and towels were ancient. The bed cover was too small for two people. But otherwise we were happy. The room & bathroom were very big by Parisian standards!

We arrived and they moved us to another hotel as they they said they had problems with their hotwater system in the room they had alocated to us. The other hotel seemed more like a 2 star not 3 star so we were not happy at all.

1. The location was very convenient, near to supermarket, cafes & metro station - Villier. The distance to paris central is just about 3 or 4 stops from the Villier MET. 2. Services provided was quite helpful. Disneyland tickets, Hop on Hop off bus, taxi pick up all can be arranged at the hotel. Thus reduce the queue time & searching. 3. However the room is not that spacious. If you have lots of luggage it is not recommended to book the single or superior room.

Reception was very helpful and available 24 hrs. Room was clean and we felt safe in the area. Local restaurants nearby (English speaking) and Metro station only a couple min walk. The only negative thing was the Wireless Internet (Orange) kept dropping out and costs 4 EUR for 1 hour, 10 EUR for 3 hours etc.

A nice hotel, nice people and good location. Many shops around and good connection to different interesting places. Rooms are small and of different qualities. Some are noisy. Be sure to not stay near the elevator.

Although this hotel had been highly rated, we realized very quickly that it was by far the worst place we had ever seen. Although the public areas are clean and the reception and management are polite and professional, the rooms are not clean, the plumbing emits offensive odors, and are unbearably close and hot, even in very mild, even cool weather. My daughter and I slept together in one bed because the other had not been changed for some time (probably it had not "looked" used to the maids. We were appalled that a 3-star hotel that was highly recommended could possibly be so deplorable. We are wondering if this review will actually be published, since we read only glowing reviews of this place, and suspect the chain that operates it controls all reviews. The breakfast was good and the staff were polite.

This hotel is quite hard to find, especially at night, so take a map. Its in between a rather rundown part and a very nice shopping area, with good cafes and restauarants, near Villiers metro. As always, some rooms are better than others, but the reception was very helpful when I objected to a room where someone had been smoking. Breakfast was good value at €. My room was a good size with a view on the small courtyard, and with a good size bathroom. There is no air conditioning. All in all a good place to stay, and I would go back, as long as its not too hot!

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. A bit further out than I expected but in a nice area for eating/bars, not too touristy! Close to Metro station for quick access into centre of Paris.
