A strange themed hotel. I stayed in a small single room in the basement called 'Metalica'. [The stairs down to this area were stone & treacherous. ]Everything in this room was metal including a rusty tin table with an even more rusty drawer. The shower glass bricked cubicle was set into the room, I'm size twelve & just fit in it. The so called exclusive Loo was outside the room which also had a door leading to a postage stamp dark outside space with a giant rusty very noisy waterfall which was switched off at midnight until morning. The bed was like rock, the mattress stained & did not have a mattress cover to hide the stains. I complained & they did put a quilt between the bottom sheet & the mattress, slightly less hard. The young owner informed me his guests liked a very hard mattress & he'd just been on the television show 'Four in a Bed". The reception young men were all very pleasant & helpful. I shall not stay in this hotel again! The theme idea is good but the place needs a total overhaul.

No air-conditioner which is quite surprising, but luckily it's not very hot so it's fine. free wifi is available but the network is not stable at all, we need to wait for few hours to get the network connected. Staff r very nice.

I booked a small single room and I´ve seen smaller rooms so it was nice. Bathroom and shower were VERY small though. Anyway, I got just what I booked. Only stayed 1 night (arrived late and let early) so it was fine. Short walk from Paddington staiton to get the Heathrow express.Nice pubs within 5-10 minutes walk.

This is not a hotel for you if you want a room like a holiday inn or other chain. I slept great and the room was clean. Be aware that the rooms are decorated in a way that might not suit everyone, I liked the character, felt like I was staying in an eccentric aunts spare room. Good stay i'll go back.

This is an unusual hotel with each room decorated and furnished individually.... worth a visit and the staff were perfectly friendly.
