Had a room with a view to the lake which was phenomenal. Staff were helpful. Within walking distance of everything you need.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel in Vossevangen. The room was partly renovated in a tasteful fashion and we enjoyed a wondeful panoramic view over the lake. However, the bathroom had not been fully renovated. It felt a little bit "worn". The biggest issue here was the sink water faucet, where cold and warm had been swopped, so that cold water was to the left instead of right. In addition, water splashed everywhere when opening for water. The dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant was wonderful. The hotel claim to have Northern Europe's most extensive wine list. Bear in mind, however, that if you want to pick someting from the 162-page wine list, you have to order a day in advance. With this said, nothing bad can be said about food or drinks. The price of the wine is very fair, much cheaper than comparable places. The range of facilities at the hotel is top end.

An excellent hotel and ,although reasonably costly, it is situated in an ideal location overlooking the lake .Room while not large had a good sized balcony as well with outstanding views. Easy one hundred metre distance from the railway and on the edge of the main shopping area.High quality breakfast provided .

The view from our room was spectacular looking over the lake and the room itself was very large and comfortable. The position in town is excellent and is in easy walking distance of the railway station. There is a reasonably priced restaurant next door (by Norwegian standards) which is convenient for evening meals. We stayed two nights and had a great stay.

Excellent hotel, although furnishings a little on the old side. Much closer to the railway station than we expected, with less than a five minute easy walk. Restaurant and cafe in-house provided good range of menu and price ranges. Fantastic view over the lake made for a very pleasant two day stay.
