The shower was running all the time with a leak they refused to fix. Very hard to sleep with the sound of running water.

Manhattan hotels are expensive, and it's fun to be in a neighborhood without tourists. But: this a 5 floor walk up; access always required fuss; it had no internet that I could find; twice the staff tried to barge in during the day; on the other hand, in 6 days the room was never cleaned. And of course the hotel has none of the normal facilities staff provide, or even a neighborhood map. It is actually expensive for what you get.
